| i want to suggest one resource and one text: 1. Howard Slater: The Spoiled Ideas of Lost Situations Some Notes on Political Conceptual Art. Infopool, London, July 2000 In this text, Slater traces key aspects of the conceptual art of the 1960s and 70s and relates them to the strategies of digital artists of the late 1990s. He argues convincingly that contemporary art practices can be significantly strengthened by a strong historical awareness to conceptual (rather than purely technical) definitions of art. http://www.infopool.org.uk/pool1.htm 2.Syndicate Network The Syndicate is a network of people and institutions working in media culture in Europe, with many of the 500+ participants living and working in Eastern Europe.
